At The Children’s Courtyard of North Plainfield in Illinois, there is a special Lead Teacher whose passion and purpose for her career have soared to exceptional levels. We are proud to shine the spotlight on Charlene Hough, a 2025 Teacher of the Year Finalist at Learning Care Group (LCG).

Just as we encourage our teachers to establish caring, positive relationships with children, we encourage families to do the same with teachers.

Our company-wide, bi-annual Teacher In-Service Days (TISD) are an important aspect of the care we provide!

It was our annual winter Professional Development Day giving teachers a chance to become students for the day. Our school teams worked hard to learn new and exciting ways to inspire and educate the children in their care!
